What you'll do on a typical day:
Lead the identification, analysis and prioritization of compliance-based risks and communicate potential impacts to company leadership; utilize risk assessment reports to drive targeted efforts in monitoring and auditing to ensure risks are mitigated and resolved appropriately
Develop, modify, implement and provide training on compliance-related procedures and work instructions; coordinate rollout and training of new or updated policies and directives when required
Execute programs designed to ensure compliance with applicable laws and customer requirements; collaborate with company leadership to drive consistency in the approach, processes and tools
Manage, assign and ensure resolution of complaints made to the Ethics and Compliance hotline
Lead the development of processes that track, monitor, trend and analyze regulatory requirement changes, external communications and hotline results; manage compliance and ethics improvement and changes
Collaborate with corporate counsels and HR department team members to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations; make recommendations to improve gaps in performance against contractual and regulatory requirements
Perform HR department audits to maintain compliance with policies and procedures; keep up to date with industry regulatory environment and changes
Ensure execution of all audit plan documentation and tasks with the appropriate level of consistency and governance
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Management, IT or a related field, or equivalent work experience
5 years of experience in compliance, third-party risk management and/or compliance programing auditing
Experience in program/project management, including change management, stakeholder management, user training and communications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to build complex formulas in Excel
It'd be great if you also have:
PMP or SHRM-CP certification
Experience in HR compliance with large, complex organizations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
Ability to quickly learn and become adept in new software applications
Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment
Strong commitment to high professional ethical standards
Proficiency in HR systems and tools
