Human Resources Manager – Public Sector

Local company is seeking an individual to manage the overall operations of Human Resources. A bachelor’s degree or higher in Management or Human Resources is required and a PHR or SPHR is preferred.

Must possess at least 5 years of HR generalist experience and must be knowledgeable in current labor laws. Assists with grievances and Union contract negotiations. This position also oversees health insurance benefit programs, workers’ compensation, FMLA, short- and long-term disability, pension program, company training programs and manages the insurance claims process.
