Position Summary:
The Human Resources Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and collaborate closely with them to develop and implement HR initiatives that support the achievement of business objectives. This position manages all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, associate relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the business areas of support . This role requires a combination of strong HR expertise, business acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday with a requirement to work 100% on-site. Occasional early morning or late afternoon hours may be required.
Responsibilities:
Working as a business partner with management and understanding their objectives so solutions can be provided to support the operation.
Serving as an internal consultant to management on a broad range of HR topics including performance management, talent development, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Manage associate relations and facilitating issue resolution including investigation, documentation, and possible corrective action and consequence.
Partnering with management and recruiting team around workforce planning and candidate selection process.
Ensuring the completion of an accurate weekly payroll with the team; cross trained on all data systems including UKG Dimensions, APT, BOLT and Sales Commission.
Interpreting, educating and informing leaders and associates on company policies and procedures.
Managing on-boarding and orientation process for newly hired associates.
Drive associate engagement initiatives and event planning to foster a positive work culture that values diversity, inclusion, and teamwork.
Analyzes HR metrics and data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address them.
Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and legislation.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Should Possess:
Strong understanding of HR principles, practices and regulations
Strong understanding of local and federal employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and concepts to diverse audiences and to assist in conflict resolution.
Strong relationship building skills with ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Time management skills, analytical skills, and the ability to work with little supervision are a must.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, ATS, WFM and HRIS programs, applications.
Required Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of experience in HR Management roles
Previous HR experience in a warehouse, transportation or similar environment
HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred
