Human Resources Manager

The Hilton Garden Inn and Residence Inn by Marriott, Riverhead Long Island are looking for a Human Resources Manager to join their team. Known for its charming town, historic downtown area, wineries and downtown beaches, Riverhead, Long Island, is a great place to be. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned HR Professional looking to engage two wonderful teams, across two hotel brands.

Compensation: 75 K + 80 K commensurate with experience

Additional Compensation: HR Manager Yearly 20% potential Bonus

Job Duties

• Manage the entire Human Resources function for two hotels, including hiring, engagement, employee relations, and partnering with Corporate Office on any legal matters/investigations.

• Partner with the Hotel's General Managers to foster a positive work environment for all employees.

• Actively engage with the staff by walking around the hotel, getting to know employees, and hosting team building events.

• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws.

• Ensure compliance with brand and management company standards, policies and procedures.

• Spearhead employee culture, including but not limited to AOS, team building events, training and development initiatives.

• Manage recruitment and hiring process.

• Responsible for managing entire employee cycle.

• Complete administrative tasks related to the HR functions.

• Other duties as assigned.
