As an HR Director, you will collaborate with senior management in making strategic decisions for continued growth. Our ideal candidate is a Human Resources "jack-of-all trades" who has a strong entrepreneurial spirit, high emotional IQ, is super grounded but still knows how to take measured risks in helping to take Networx to new heights.

Talent Acquisition

  • Implement successful recruiting practices to increase employee head count.

  • Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt employees in a fast-paced environment, including sourcing, interviewing and hiring candidates

  • Create a dynamic onboarding program that includes 30-60-90 day follow up to increase retention

  • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback for areas of improvement

  • Oversee administration of all new hire and employee paperwork, including tax forms, I-9 verification, background verifications, discipline and termination records. Conduct employment verifications for current and previous employees.

Payroll Processing

  • Analyze, prepare and input payroll data. Use automated system to produce accurate and timely payroll. Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.

  • Facilitates management and employee understanding of payroll procedures. Oversee payroll garnishments for current employees.

Employee Management & Growth

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the company attorney as needed/required. Oversee safety and risk management.

  • Supervise all employees within the HR department, and facilitate their growth and development.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for all employees; prepare and maintain employee handbook.

  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

  • Demonstrate empathy for employees' concerns while maintaining consistency for company policy.

  • Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

Administrative Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate overall administrative activities for the office; supervise the maintenance of office areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement and housekeeping of office facilities and supplies.

  • Establish and maintain department records and reports. Participate in administrative staff and management meetings.

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration, organizational psychology or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the HR field.
  • PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-SCP/CP certification preferred

Current projects range from a 10M bank, 200M high school bond program, 20M multifamily, and a 100M manufacturing and distribution center. Looking for well-rounded and detail-oriented PMs who know all construction trades very well and have at least 5 years experience as a Lead PM on commercial type projects with a larger general contractor. These positions are full time traveling positions, meaning that PMs are expected to go from project to project as needed. At least 5 years experience as a project manager on large scale vertical construction projects with a general contractor ? Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (strongly preferred) ? In lieu of bachelors degree per above, equivalent relevant experience will be considered ?
