Motor Coach Industries (MCI), an industry leader in Charter and Luxury Touring Coaches, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team. As the market leader, MCI designs, manufactures and markets coaches for tour, line haul, transit and conversion uses.
MCI is committed to providing our customers with high-quality products along with aftermarket services throughout the U.S. and Canada. This position is located in Pembina, North Dakota which is near the U.S. / Canadian border.
This key leadership role, located in Pembina North Dakota, is responsible for managing human resources activities including, labor relations, safety & health, policy administration, recruitment/selection, people development, and organizational climate initiatives.
You will participate in collective bargaining and the grievance/ arbitration resolution process and act as a valued and trusted advisor to the management team in the interpretation and administration of collective agreements. In addition, you will provide counsel on general labor/employee relations issues, and promote a positive work environment through the administration of our health and safety programs, recruitment & selection practices, people development initiatives and performance management programs.
You will have progressively responsible human resource experience, preferably in a unionized manufacturing setting with demonstrated experience and understanding of health & safety programs, recruitment and selection, employee relations, and local, state and federal employment and EEO laws. Your well developed management skills, good judgment and the proven ability to influence, coach, mentor and build relationships with all key stakeholders is essential.
