Job Summary: As a Human Resources Manager, you will provide coaching, guidance, tools and project management to leadership in functional areas of human resources.

Scope: Our human resources Managers support multiple Business Partners and facilities across our organization. Overall, the Human Resource Manager will ensure 'keeping the culture' of H-E-B by taking care of People, learning and engaging in the Business activities and results all the while ensuring we provide Human Resource tools/framework/guidance on helping the business change and evolve.

Develop Strategic Business Partnerships:

  • Cultivates and maintains a productive

  • business partnership with client groups, providing direction

  • Handles confidential information in a variety of situations and levels

  • Executes and sustains change management initiatives that align with the business priorities while maintaining the culture

  • Coordinates and/or participates in divisional and cross functional projects

  • May recommend changes to current programs, processes and policies

  • Participates in re-organizations with Partner implications to include Partner displacements and reassignments

  • Coaches and supports business partners on developing and retaining talent

  • Facilitate and / or provides Corporate Training (e.g., leadership, compliance, policy) to develop great Partners

Education and Experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or comparable experience

  • 4 - 7 years in Human Resources or related operations experience

  • PHR certification strongly preferred

  • Working knowledge of business operations

  • Solid facilitation skills

  • Solid PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook - as well as computer software programs / applications (e.g. PeopleSoft, HRIS, Kenexa, etc.) required by the job

Key Competencies preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to work complex issues with senior level leadership

  • Solid knowledge of Labor Relations

  • Basic project management skills

  • Basic negotiation and influencing skills

  • Physical and other requirements:

  • Function in a fast-paced, retail, operations, office environment

  • Travel by car or airplane with overnight stays

  • Sit for an extended period of time

  • Lift 10 lbs or more on a rare basis

  • Stand and walk for an extended period of time

  • May work extended hours

  • Must be readily accessible to Business Partners

We are currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager for multiple Aramark operations located in Responsibilities: The Senior Human Resources Manager will utilize solid business acumen to assertively partner with the management team regarding HR, Staffing, ER/LR, policies/procedures, compliance and general management topics. He/she is responsible for providing and maintaining extraordinary levels of service through a high level of influence, execution and prioritizing of duties. The Senior Human Resources Manager will also ensure that all employees working are being treated fairly and correctly under the federal and state guidelines that have been set and that all employees have been trained properly according to corporate, state and federal guideline. This position is responsible for developing, leading and executing in the following areas: * Leads positive employee relations efforts within all facilities. * Leads Performance Review efforts in district. * Conducts annual review of compensation plans for all hourly employees. * Executes staffing and on-boarding processes for hourly and salary (managers, professionals and technicians) positions. * Ensures compliance with corporate/district level policies and federal/state governmental agencies. * Communicates benefits, policy and other HR related changes for district. * Trains and coaches management/supervisory staff in interviewing, hiring, performance reviews, counseling, diversity, disciplinary and regulatory compliance. * Participates with HR Team and others on corporate level projects. * Manages and reports required HR business metrics (diversity, area labor market info, etc.). * Maintains accurate information in electronic and paper employee records. * Conducts wage and employment surveys within area labor market to monitor competitive wage rates and hiring trends. * Actively engages in objective setting at facility level. * Leads resolution of employee relations' issues and conducts investigations as necessary. * Actively participates in safety and environmental projects as required. * Participate in Job Fairs and campus recruiting. Department. * Meet with the General Managers to discuss HR issues at the locations.. * Track training and hourly paperwork; maintain current employee files for audit purposes. * Develop and maintain Affirmative Action plans at the locations. * Other duties as assigned. This position reports to the District Manager/General Manager and has a dotted line into the Human Resources Director of the region.
