One of the largest boutique litigation firms in the Palm Beach Gardens area, is in search of a Human Resources Manager who will lead all human resource administration, including recruiting, hiring, and training, professional development, and staff productivity.

The Human Resources Manager must be committed to ensuring effective and successful HR service for all employees throughout the firm by supporting the company's objectives and goals and ensuring that the organization's human resources needs are met. The HR Manager must be comfortable providing guidance, strategic input, and advice to senior management on sensitive and confidential employee matters.

The ideal candidate must be highly organized, professional, conscientious, empathetic, and detail oriented. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe are required. Experience in a law firm and general case management is preferred. Experience with Litify is a plus. Salary is commensurate with experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support the company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Oversee the company's benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Develop and implement employee training and development programs to improve performance and retention.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary action.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and address HR-related challenges and opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues.
  • Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to the team.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve HR policies and practices to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Employee Handbook and Firm Procedure Manual changes
  • Approval of employee expense reports
  • Prepare staff schedules or work assignments.
  • Vendor relations, including all court reporters, process servers, Westlaw, random presenters, health, dental vision, long-term and short-term disability, professional liability, property, wind, and flood insurances.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in human resources management
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Experience in a law firm and case management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software systems
