Our client, a reputable manufacturing leader in North Houston, is seeking a dynamic and bilingual (Spanish) HR Manager to join their team. This onsite role will oversee HR functions for a workforce of approximately 185 employees, spread across two manufacturing facilities and an office.
This position requires a bilingual (English/Spanish) professional with a robust HR background in manufacturing or similar industries, who can bring both strategic and hands-on experience to a growing organization. Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations & Culture Building:
Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, fostering a positive work environment and supporting a welcoming, community-centered culture. Organize office events, raffles, and activities to engage employees. Benefits Administration:
Manage the full benefits process, including enrollment, renewals, and day-to-day administration, providing employees with support on benefits-related inquiries. Payroll Processing: Oversee payroll functions bi-weekly, ensuring timely and accurate processing via Paycom.
Confidentiality and Trustworthiness: Uphold the highest standards in handling confidential information related to payroll, benefits, and employee files. Requirements: Experience: 10-15 years in HR management, preferably in a private company with 150-200 employees.
Industry Background: Manufacturing, oilfield service, or related industries strongly preferred. Language Skills:
Bilingual in English and Spanish. Software Proficiency: Experience with Paycom preferred but not required Leadership Qualities:
Proven self-starter with a proactive problem-solving approach, able to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day operations. Adaptability: Demonstrated flexibility to fit into and enhance the existing company culture. Hands-On Approach: Willingness to take a “boots on the ground” approach, engaging directly with employees across all levels of the organization.
