Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with HR projects

  • Tracking of HIPAA compliance

  • Assist with policy and handbook updates

  • New hire paperwork updates in UltiPro on-boarding

  • Plan and manage bring your Kids to Work Day

  • Assist all functional HR departments as additional projects and support needs arise (Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting & On-boarding, and Employee Relations)

  • Assist Regional HR Generalist with regional responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

  • Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required; rising Junior or Senior preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a bias towards simple solutions

  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills; both written and verbal

  • Self-starter, able to work independently

  • Fast-paced, detail oriented, and excellent organizational skills; accuracy is essential

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines

  • Proficient computer skills, to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Duties & Responsibilities: * Hardware and operating system procurement, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrades * Utilize build guides to support standards for all internal and hosted servers * Ensure vendor and/or customer-specified design plans are implemented to specification, including disaster recovery plans * Coordinate all new implementations and designs with the internal architecture, disaster recovery, datacenter and network teams * Work with internal application development and network teams to troubleshoot network connectivity problems * Compliance checking to ensure that all standards are adhered to: monitoring and systems management tools are functional; the servers are secured and backup/recovery plans are implemented * React promptly to remediate compliance problems and system-related incidents * Installation and removal of server or storage hardware at the data center * Rotating 24x7 on-call schedule for emergencies with production systems * Other duties as assigned * Experience with Windows client/server architecture * Experience with scripting languages preferred * Building Windows and Linux servers to application specs * Monitoring several server and application's health * Maintaining several servers at once via patching, rebooting, starting/stopping services * System Administration related scripting and basic programming with a strong emphasis on error detection * Capacity planning, technology fit analysis, and basic system decisions for choosing the correct application for the job at hand * Exposure to IT costs, tracking & documenting, vendor relationships, etc. Requirements: * Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in MIS, CIS, CS or related field required; rising Junior or Senior preferred * Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a bias towards simple solutions * Excellent inter-personal and communication skills; both written and verbal * Self-starter, able to work independently * Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills; accuracy is essential * Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines Launch your career with a national building materials distributor and discover opportunities for growth and advancement.
