Purpose of the Position: The Human Resources Intern is responsible for administrative tasks in the HR department, including updating employee records, filing documents, and assisting in payroll and recruiting as well as employee development and supporting HR policies and procedures.
Position Reports To: Senior HR Business Partner
Job Group Classification: Human Resources
Overtime Status: Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
Work Location: Onsite
Type of Employment: Full-Time and Part-Time, Internship
Level of Expertise: Entry to Mid-Level
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
Gather payroll data like leaves, working hours and bank accounts
Screen resumes and application forms
Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates
Post, update and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages and social networks
Prepare HR-related reports as needed (like training budgets by department)
Address employee queries about benefits (like number of remaining vacation days)
Review and distribute company policies in digital formats or hard copies
Participate in organizing company events and careers days
Qualifications:
Experience as a Staff Assistant or similar junior HR role is a plus
Familiarity with HRIS, ATS and resume databases
Experience with MS Office
Good understanding of full-cycle recruiting
Basic knowledge of labor legislation
Organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in human resources management or similar field
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience with HR Information Systems
Detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
Skilled at getting results both directly and indirectly
Demonstrated strong organizational skills, idea driven
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
