Job Description Job Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity with a duration of roughly 4 months for a Human Resources (HR) Manager in Auburndale, Florida. This role is within the manufacturing industry and will involve the use of Oracle HCM / HRIS system.
As an HR Manager, you will be expected to handle full HR lifecycle functions, with a focus on employee relations and talent acquisition. This is an individual contributor role, but it will function as the top HR professional for a plant site. Responsibilities: • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations. • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation. • Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers. • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning. • Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs. • Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met. • Manage and oversee the hiring process, including conducting new employee orientations. • Proven experience in Employee Relations, able to effectively manage and resolve workplace conflicts • Proficiency in Hiring Processes, including job posting, interviewing, and onboarding • Solid understanding of Human Resources (HR) Administration, ensuring smooth operations in the HR department • Experience in handling Employee Relations Investigations, demonstrating an ability to objectively assess and resolve workplace issues • Ability to Conduct New-Employee Orientations, providing new hires with a comprehensive introduction to the company • Experience in Counseling Employees, offering guidance and support in various work-related matters • Demonstrated ability in Disciplining Employees, enforcing company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner • Familiarity with creating and maintaining an Employee Handbook, ensuring it is up-to-date and compliant with the latest laws and regulations • Proficiency in Employee Performance Management, able to assess employee performance, provide feedback, and implement improvement strategies.
