What Youll Do

As a HR Generalist at Clarkston, you will serve in an experienced role on the Clarkston Human Resources Management team where you will be responsible for:

  • Owning core functional areas for the HR team including compensation and total rewards, performance management, immigration, employee onboarding and relations
  • Maintaining and enhancing the firms human resources programs through planning, implementing, and continuously evaluating programs and practices
  • Serving as a sought-after resource to employees at all levels
  • Serving as the firms compensation analyst supporting the total rewards strategy through participating in annual salary surveys, benchmarking, analyzing trends in compensation and developing salary and variable pay plans
  • Maintaining the firms compensation management tool
  • Advancing company culture through the evaluation and execution of rewards and recognition programs, employee feedback surveys, and firm initiatives
  • Managing performance management programs to drive a feedback focused culture throughout the firm. Lead and administer performance feedback cycles including project-based feedback, self-assessments, goal-setting, and annual reviews. Serve as the point of contact for inquiries from employees and firm leadership
  • Administering the various Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) to ensure data integrity and utility of master data; processing various personnel actions, generating reports, and analyzing workforce metrics
  • Handling confidential and sensitive personnel information
  • Serving as the sought-after superuser across various talent management systems
  • Ensuring adherence with all federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance requirements and filings
  • Evaluating results and initiatives for your ownership areas to ensure alignment with firm objectives and recommending new approaches, policies, and programs to effect continual improvements in efficiencies and outcomes

What Were Looking For

We are looking for self-starters and passionate HR professionals with 5-7 years of prior human resources generalist experience.

Additionally, were looking for candidates with:

  • A minimum of five (5) years prior human resources experience, preferably within a Consulting firm, with three (3) years of that experience in the compensation plan administration space.
  • Demonstrated analytical capability with ability to turn large volumes of data into meaningful insights
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy with a proven track record of program and process execution
  • The ability to handle and work with a high level of confidential material and information
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Minimum degree required: Bachelor's from an accredited college or university

Telework options are subject to change at the discretion of management.</p><p>This position will provide Human Resource leadership and support in serving as the Human Resource Manager for employees within the Division of Water Resources (DWR).
