CareSTL Health is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to administer policies, procedures and programs relating to all aspects of the Human Resources function to include recruitment, employee relations, performance management, organizational and staff development, organizational effectiveness, compensation, benefits, reward and recognition, regulatory compliance (includes affirmative action) and safety that will contribute to developing a high performance culture.
A Successful Candidate:
Must have excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written) and be customer service oriented.
Must be knowledgeable of local, state, and federal employment laws.
Must be able to gather, organize, analyze and interpret data.
Must have proficient computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, Internet, Social Media, Payroll Software, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS or HRMS).
Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive information.
Must have strong organizational skills and be self-motivated.
Must have project management skills and be able to multi-task in order to meet deadlines.
Must be able to work independently and work effectively as part of a team.
Must be innovative, exhibit flexibility and a willingness to adapt to change.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline (required). Masters degree preferred. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
Experience: 5 - 7 years of professional experience in HR, preferably working in a community health center or other health care environment.
Other: Must have reliable transportation. Registration with the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry is required.
