Full time opening for a Human Resources (HR) Generalist. This role requires a BA in Human Resources or a related field and 3-5 years of experience working in HR.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in HR in a community health center or other health care environment and/or a PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification. This position will administer policies, procedures and programs relating to all aspects of the HR function to include recruitment, employee relations, performance management, organizational and staff development, organizational effectiveness, compensation, benefits, reward and recognition, regulatory compliance (including affirmative action) and safety that will contribute to developing a high performance culture.

Must have excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written), be customer service oriented, knowledgeable of local, state, and federal employment laws, have the ability to gather, organize, analyze and interpret data, have proficient computer skills (i.e.

Microsoft Office, Internet, Social Media, HRIS or HRMS), have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive information, have strong organizational skills, be self-motivated, have project management skills and be able to multi-task in order to meet deadlines, have the ability to both work independently and work effectively as part of a team, be innovative, and have exhibit flexibility and a willingness to adapt to change.

Must be registered with the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry. EOE.

Job Summary Collaborate with the HR Manager to implement HR initiatives that are aligned with the manufacturing organization's goals and objectives. Increase the effectiveness of manufacturing labor relations, recruitment/selection, and HR system processes to support a lean manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include hourly talent recruitment, providing HR consultation/coaching to supervisors, policy interpretation, developing and delivering training programs, ensuring clear lines of employee communication, labor relations and administering key HR projects and program implementation. Primary Duties & Responsibilities * Manage the hourly recruitment and selection process to attract and hire the best technical manufacturing talent in accordance with strategic manufacturing objectives * Establish new talent pools to broaden, enhance and diversify current workforce * Create and implement effective technical screening tools for interview process * Coordinate the interviewing and selection process for all hourly positions * Coordinate the hourly on-boarding process, including administering all pre-employment processes such as background checks, drug screens, etc. * Develop KPIs to measure effectiveness of recruitment and selection and on-boarding processes * Conduct all investigations of policy, CBA violations, and other incidents * Support and administer employment processes to ensure HR systems functionality. * Provide general benefits information to workforce. Assist with open enrollment process. * Coordinate FMLA process in conjunction with the Centers for Excellence. * Process employment-related status changes. * Provide on-floor HR presence/support to engage with employees daily and in real time * Understand, demonstrate, and champion safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment * Data entry for all onsite employee data * Engage in continuous improvement strategies to ensure the best possible outcomes for HR processes. * Manage relationships with staffing vendors. Provide guidance and feedback regarding areas of opportunity for improved efficiency * Other duties as assigned Education and Experience Profile * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related field * 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience a manufacturing environment * Or equivalent combination of education and experience * Union experience preferred Required Skills * Strong sense of urgency in addressing organizational and business needs * Excellent communication skills, both written and oral * Demonstrated ability to quickly establish rapport and communicate effectively with all levels within the organization * Continuous improvement minded. * Ability to provide coaching/counseling * Demonstrated ability to apply root cause analysis to problem solve. * High level of organizational and analytical skills * Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday and Ceridian Dayforce * Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Work Environment Working conditions 50% manufacturing, 50% Office.
