Requirements

    KEY ACTIVITIES IN YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
  • Ensure implementation of Action Against Hunger's HR policies and procedures, and compliant with local labor laws
  • Assurer la mise en uvre des politiques et procdures RH et, veiller la bonne conformit avec la lgislation du travail locale
  • Ensure the application of the strategy of the department and our HR global vision
  • Assurer l'application de la stratgie du dpartement et de notre vision globale RH
  • Oversee all administration of the mission, Payroll and Benefits Administration.
  • Superviser toute l'administration de la mission, l'administration de la paie et des avantages sociaux.
  • Manage the missions HR competences needed, recruitment and planification
  • Gestion des comptences RH ncessaires la mission, idenfitication des besoins, plan de recrutement et planification
  • Identify and monitor staff training, development and learning needs.
  • Identifier et suivre les besoins de formation, de dveloppement et d'apprentissage du personnel.
  • Communicate HR matters both internally (within the mission) and externally (to New York HQ, donors, and local authorities)
  • Communiquer les questions RH la fois en interne (au sein de la mission) et en externe (au sige de New York, aux donateurs et aux autorits locales)

DOES THIS DESCRIPTION FIT YOU?

Youre a seasoned HR professional

  • You have earned a Bachelor degree in HR, Psychology or a related field.
  • You have 4-5 years experience as HR professional, with a sound knowledge of recruitment, payroll & benefits management, training & development, and team management.
  • You are used to work with HRISystem and softwares. Ideally you know Homere software too.

Youre a super communicator and a good coaching

  • You have extensive experience communicating with staff from diverse cultures and professional backgrounds. You are comfortable verbally discussing solutions in stressful situations.
  • You are extremely capable sharing your technical knowledge, as well as the organization's policies & procedures both verbally and in writing.
  • You are diplomatic and able to help colleagues handle difficult situations.
  • You are good developing people skills.

  • You are highly organized and pay attention to details. You are calm under pressure, able to easily adapt to changing circumstances.
  • You can identify needs, develop plans, and also deliver training.

  • Vous avez obtenu un diplme en RH, en psychologie ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Vous avez 4 5 ans dexprience en tant que professionnel des ressources humaines, avec une solide connaissance du recrutement, de la gestion de la paie et des avantages sociaux, de la formation et du dveloppement et de la gestion dquipe.
  • Vous avez l'habitude de travailler avec HRISystem et les logiciels. Idalement, vous connaissez galement le logiciel Homere.

With more than 7,600 staff in over 45 countries<br></p><p><strong>About the program</strong></p><p> Action Against Hunger has been facilitating emergency relief and development programs in Uganda for the past 40 years.
