Scope:

  • Partner with leaders on People related business objectives and polices

  • Support leaders across the organization to develop and coach their employees

  • Champion workforce data planning

Education and Experience Required:• Four-year college degree in Human Resources and/or equivalent experience

  • Two years Human Resources experience, preferably as a Generalist

  • Customer Service experience

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office is required

  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written

  • Able to work with varying workloads, changing priorities, and a variety of staff

  • Demonstrate initiative and motivation to follow through with tasks

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Able to physically perform the duties required by the position

  • Required to have the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents and visitors

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders on People related business objectives and polices

o Provide guidance and ensure alignment on HR practices with business strategies

o Collaborate with leadership on legal compliance on People situations

o Guide and support leaders through organizational changes

o Provide framework and tools for managing change

  • Support leaders across the organization to develop and coach their employees

o Use progressive discipline practices to effectively communicate expectations

o Lead People meetings

o Follow federal and state employment laws in dealing with discipline, unemployment and all other employment related issues

  • Champion workforce data planning

o Partner with leaders to analyze workforce needs and trends

o Utilize systems and technology to provide data, metrics, and reports

o Collaborate with leaders on people initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention

o UKG Troubleshooting

o Respond to employee questions

o Provide project support to the team as needed

Exemption Status: Salaried Exempt
