As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in talent acquisition, data management, benefits administration, HR-related projects, collaborating with the department heads, and maintaining confidentiality. This position requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, attention to detail, and dedication to fostering a positive work environment.
Talent Acquisition (30%) Success Criteria: · Meet recruitment targets by successfully filling positions with qualified candidates within the defined timeframes. · Demonstrate effective sourcing strategies by attracting a diverse pool of top talent and reducing time-to-fill. · Receive positive feedback from hiring managers on the quality and fit of hired candidates. · Maintain a well-organized and up-to-date Applicant Tracking System (ATS). · Enhance employer branding and candidate experience, leading to positive feedback from applicants. Working with Colleagues (25%) Success Criteria: · Demonstrates a collaborative and service-oriented approach when working with colleagues. · Actively supports and assists colleagues in achieving common goals and objectives. · Cultivates a positive and respectful work environment by fostering open communication and recognizing contributions. · Offers constructive feedback and solutions to challenges while maintaining a positive attitude. · Takes the initiative to anticipate and address the needs of colleagues proactively. · Proactively seeks feedback and guidance from management to enhance HR strategies and processes. Data Management (20%) Success Criteria: · Ensure HR data accuracy and integrity by regularly auditing and updating employee records. · Provide timely and accurate HR reports and metrics to support data-driven decision-making. · Identify trends and insights from HR data analysis to inform strategic HR initiatives. · Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal data security policies. · Implement improvements to HR data management processes and systems.
HR Related Projects (15%) Success Criteria: · Successfully support HR-related projects by meeting project milestones and deadlines. · Contribute to the development and implementation of effective HR policies and procedures. · Receive positive feedback from employees and management on the impact of HR initiatives on employee engagement and development. · Participate in diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, leading to an inclusive and supportive workplace culture. · Demonstrate a proactive and innovative approach to improving HR practices and processes. Maintaining Confidentiality (5%) Success Criteria: · Demonstrates a strict commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive HR information and employee data. · Adheres to all data protection regulations and company policies to safeguard confidential information. · Uses discretion when handling sensitive employee matters, ensuring that discussions are kept private and restricted to relevant stakeholders. · Safeguards access to HR records and systems, preventing unauthorized personnel from accessing confidential data. · Provide clear guidance to colleagues and team members on the importance of confidentiality and properly handling sensitive information. · Dedication to Rochambeau’s vision, mission, values, and strategic plan. · Perform related duties that align with the position's scope and intent. Benefits Administration (5%) Success Criteria: · Effectively manage and administer employee benefits programs, ensuring employees can access comprehensive benefits information. · Respond promptly and accurately to employees' benefits-related inquiries and issues. · Successfully coordinate open enrollment periods and achieve high employee participation rates. · Monitor employee satisfaction with benefits through surveys and feedback to achieve high satisfaction levels.
Qualifications: · Bilingual proficiency in French and English required: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand both languages fluently. Comfortable communicating and interacting in both languages in a professional setting.
Experience with translating documents or interpreting conversations is a plus. · Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. · Proven experience as an HR Generalist with talent acquisition and data management expertise. · Previous work experience in an educational institution or nonprofit organization. · Punctuality as a condition of employment. Must consistently demonstrate punctuality in daily work attendance and participate in meetings. · Knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and data protection regulations. · Strong analytical skills and proficiency in HRIS systems and data analysis tools. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented and positive attitude. · Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information, and promote a respectful work environment.
