We are partnered with a manufacturing company seeking a dedicated and experiencedHR Generalist (bilingual) to join their growing HR department! The HR Generalist will provide support to the HR department and its various functions including employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment, payroll, corporate office administration, training, and development. We are seeking someone that aligns with our company culture and values being a part of an innovative and progressive organization. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of HR strategies, programs, procedures, and initiatives to enable the achievement of short and long-term business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Partner with the executive team to curate training and development programs aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation and provides appropriate training programs
  • Investigate and act as liaison for employee relations issues.
  • Maintain and file electronic and paper personnel records, update Human Resources Information systems (HRIS) and other HR records.
  • Efficiently process terminations while maintaining confidentiality of employee records.
  • Review performance on a regular basis using metrics such as productivity, turnover etc.
  • Coordinate with risk management personnel to administer workers compensation benefits and claims review process.
  • Source, screen and recruit for new openings and develop/revise job descriptions to be posted on the job boards.
  • Work with an insurance broker to ensure company policies are cost-effective and appropriate.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 4-5+ years of experience in Human Resources preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Bilingual skills; English and Spanish
  • Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred
  • HR certificate is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to employment (i.e., discrimination and harassment, wage and -hours, etc.)
  • Intermediate skills working with MS Office and able to learn new programs quickly
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support our ReadyRefresh Southwest OR NorthWest teams. The role will support and directly report to the Area HR Manager for the market. This position will partner with business leaders to drive performance and continued enhancement of the organization's culture and capabilities. This role can sit in any ReadyRefresh location within the market, with travel required throughout the market. Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: * Execute proactive employee engagement programs to ensure high levels of management credibility and business performance. Examples include: Operations change management, employee feedback programs and leadership assessments * Provide direction to the bench development process for all team members including performance management, career development and workforce planning * Support regional recruiting for front-line positions that delivers full compliance, strong diversity and effective selection * Leverage Leadership Development and other training options to improve leadership capability to drive business growth * Provide counsel and support to managers and employees of ongoing HR initiatives and projects * Promote and foster the Nestle Continuous Excellence culture through an empowering, open minded and proactive approach and by acting as a catalyst for change management Key qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to: * Ability and willingness to travel each week (up to 50%) * 3 years' experience in a human resources coordinator/generalist role in a progressive HR department * Bachelor's degree * Strong business acumen and HR experience with a proven track record as a HR partner in an operations environment * Experience in proactive employee relations, recruitment and staffing * Employee relations including fact finding, managing conflicts and developing win/win solutions is desired * Ability to lead though influence in a collaborate environment * Demonstrated experience partnering on business/operational issues * Knowledge of state and federal employment law including HR technical knowledge of EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment and worker's compensation * Demonstrated communication abilities at multiple levels of the organization * Demonstrated organization skills leading to the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment To our veterans and separated service members: you are at the forefront of our minds as we recruit top talent to join Nestlé.
