Under general supervision, performs a variety of technical, complex and/or specialized support duties related to support a variety of Human Resources functions. Provides internal and external communications/information to the general public and employees regarding job postings and openings and other employment related services. Provides support and assistance to professional and technical personnel staff as assigned. Serves as the primary contact for the job posting and application process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills, and other characteristics. A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business, or a closely related field plus one (1) year of direct work experience in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business in a lead or supervisory role. A valid driver's license is required.
OR
An Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business, or a closely related field plus an additional three (3) years of direct work experience in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business, or a closely related field with at least one (1) of those years in a lead or supervisory role. A valid driver's license is required.
OR
The equivalent of a high school diploma and five (5) years of direct work experience in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business, or a closely related field with at least one (1) of those years in a lead or supervisory role. A valid driver's license is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work involves a minimum of physical effort with intermittent sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, walking, and driving. Work involves excessive keyboarding and interacting with applicants. May require lifting up to 30 lbs. on occasion.
