General Description
The Human Resource Coordinator administers employee onboarding, background checks. The Human Resource Coordinator makes that certain plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Essential Duties
Manages the onboarding of employees in the HRIS system.
Responsible for inputting data for new hires and ensuring that all employee information is correct in the HRIS system.
Conducts background checks for all employees in a timely manner.
Troubleshoots issues as they arise with login ID's and security management for employees.
Per Diem purges
Assist in the management of the I9 process.
Benefits administration including inputting 401K changes in the HRIS system.
Administer the Voluntary Life program. Complete portability and conversion forms.
Mail distribution including research when questions arise.
Minimum Qualifications
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol.
Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of HRIS software applications.
