Human Resources Generalist

Are you a seasoned HR professional ready to make a significant impact? We're on the lookout for a dynamic HR Generalist to join our team in Washington. As an HR Generalist, you'll play a crucial role in aligning business objectives with our talented workforce. Serving as a consultant to management, you'll champion employees and drive positive change throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

• Review, track, and document compliance with training, education, and assessments.

• Partner with managers on various HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, and talent management.

• Handle employment-related inquiries and participate in disciplinary meetings and investigations.

• Collaborate with HR Business Partners to identify and develop talent, ensuring a robust succession plan.

• Maintain compliance with employment laws, regulations, and best practices.

• Support HR Business Partners and Managers as needed, driving employee engagement.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

• Proficiency in Thai, Vietnamese or Kamal is a plus.

• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.

• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.

• Integrity, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Workday/HRIS and talent management systems experience is a plus.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent HR experience.

• Experience in retail and/or retail operations is advantageous.

• Experience supporting multi-site locations, including multiple states, is a plus.

• Strong customer orientation and change management skills.

• Ability to travel, as required, including overnights (not exceeding 10%).

• Autonomous and collaborative work style in a fast-paced environment.

The hourly range for this opportunity is $32.70 - $33.65 . Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications
