POSITION OVERVIEW
Performs activities in the human resources area. Includes all areas of recruitment, compensation, employee relations and benefits. Will handle regional on-boarding of new hires and training and help guide new hires through complicated process of benefits and compensation. Will have the crucial task of complying with all local, state, and federal regulations for HR (Human Resource).
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Possess superb written and spoken communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills.
Excellent computer skills, knowledge of HRIS, Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
HR applicants require a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
2+ years of human resources experience
Specialized training in employment law, organization development, employee relations, recruitment
General knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
Leads the recruiting process in specific regions by coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, reference checks and maintaining ATS records.
Coordinates pre-hire activities.
Schedules and coordinates new hire orientation.
Assists with benefit enrollment for new employees.
Conducts audits of various personnel files, benefits, or other HR programs.
Processes terminations and required follow-up activities.
Processes payroll.
Assists HR staff with various projects as requested.
Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations as needed.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
