Human Resources Generalist is responsible for handling a wide range of human resources related tasks. This individual interacts with branches, maintains organization, following policies and procedures, have a diverse background with recruiting, benefits administration, and employee relations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Administers various human resources projects, plans, and procedures for all company personnel and assists in development of company policies.

  • Works with branches on a daily basis on various HR related functions.

  • Assists with benefits administration including open enrollment, and communicating benefit information to employees.

  • Assists with the new hire onboarding process.

  • Assists with maintaining affirmative action reporting and plans and maintains other logs to conform with EEO regulations and various governmental compliance mandates.

  • Assists HR Manager with bi-annual performance evaluations.

  • Assists branches with rehires and returned employees from seasonal layoff

  • Assures branches are in compliance with all their Federal and State labor law posters with the use of PosterGuard services.

  • Assist with HR reports, decisions, and HR functions in relation to established goals of the company.

  • Recommends new approaches, policies to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the company.

  • Maintains compliance with all federal and state regulations concerning employment.

  • Performs other related HR duties as required and assigned.

The Human Resources Generalist has responsibility for non-exempt recruiting and onboarding. The Human Resources Generalist works to ensure positive employee relations, and is also involved in training, policy implementation, affirmative action, and employment law.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Maintain the confidentiality of personal employee information, company information, records, and related issues in accordance with all the applicable laws.· Administration of all employee transfers, leave of absence, change of status and change of employee information. · Collection of new hire information for payroll, entering information into the HRIS system and the Timekeeping system.</p></li><li><p>Filing of documents pertaining to employee personnel files, medical files, and work compensation files.</p></li><li><p>Responsible for all contract job bidding procedures, including job bid postings, shift preferences, changes in shift start times.</p></li><li><p>Answering and assisting employees and agencies with employment and wage verification forms and questions.</p></li><li><p>Communication with employees about any issues, questions, and concerns.
