Human Resources Generalist

We are currently looking for a Full Time Human Resources Generalist to join our team!

Position Summary:

Acts as a generalist to perform a variety of functions in support of the Human Resource Department

Basic Qualifications:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Power Point Programs.

Licensure/Certifications:

Valid New Jersey Driver's License

Education/Training/Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related degree. Certification in Human Resources preferred.

Skill(s):

• General knowledge of human resources functions.

• Knowledge of personnel issues, current trends, employment laws and state and federal regulations.

• Knowledge of standardized employee record keeping practices.

• Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures and systems.

• Knowledge of computer systems and experience working with ADP and HR software.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and management.

• Ability to communicate and present information effectively.

• Ability to read and interpret office procedures and policies.

• Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities.

Experience:

Minimum of two years of Human Resource Management.

Multistate Experience preferred

Minimum of 1 year working with a frail or elderly population
