  • Process Payroll (bi-weekly)
  • Hiring and New Employee Orientation
  • Process & Maintain Employee Documentation
  • Training

HR/Payroll Director Skills and Qualifications
  • At a minimum, 3 or more years of experience in an HR/Payroll position - including the processing of payroll
  • Kronos experience a plus
  • Experience in long-term nursing care or acute healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of state and federal HR laws
  • Experience explaining insurance benefits and managing worker's compensation (safety in the workplace)
  • Approachable, respectful and compassionate
  • Organized and extremely proficient in time management skills

Cubii’s products are award winning and the company was included as part of Inc’s Fastest Growing Companies in America in both 2019 &amp; 2020.<br></p><p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p><p>Cubii is looking for an experienced Human Resources Director to ensure that all human resources (HR) operations are carried out smoothly and effectively. This position is responsible for developing HR strategies and providing sound advice to senior management on all related subjects. Must be an experienced professional with deep knowledge of all HR matters and must be able to manage programs, lead teams, influence and foster company culture while also possessing a strong strategic mindset.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>1. Overseeing all HR initiatives, systems and program implementation.</p><p>2. Influence and foster company culture that aligns and supports Cubii culture and values. Nurture a positive and welcoming environment.</p><p>3. Developing corporate plans for a variety of HR programs, including but not limited to, employee evaluations, compensation, benefits, health and safety etc.</p><p>4. Works directly with department supervisors/managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on employee matters.</p><p>5. Develops and implements employee policies and procedures, maintains and revises employee handbook policies and procedures.</p><p>6. Communicates with employee on matters related to the company (i.e. policy changes, benefit updates, company communication, company events).</p><p>7. Maintains compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding human resource related items. (i.e. OSHA, EEOC, Wage and Labor).</p><p>8. Works with managers/supervisors to evaluate human resource needs by reviewing current organizational structure and the company goals.</p><p>9. Determines effective recruitment strategy to fill vacant positions and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.</p><p>10. Manages all benefit plans to ensure high quality coverage and service at the best cost to the company.</p><p>11. Manages the 401k plan to ensure proper administration of enrollment, deductions, submission of funds and works with legal counsel, auditors and third-party administrators on plan design, compliance and audit.</p><p>12. Assists, monitors and documents all employee disciplinary actions, suspensions and dismissals.</p><p>13. Processes all paperwork and documentation for new hires, terminations, documentations, Family Medical Leave and other employee matters.</p><p>14. Manages all payroll.</p><p>15. Represents organization at employee related hearings and investigations and consults legal counsel when need arises.</p><p>16. Handles all worker compensation correspondence and works closely with the third-party administrator to monitor all claims.</p><p><strong>Experience Requirements:</strong></p><p>● Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in human resources or business-related field</p><p>● 5-10 years of experience in human resources</p><p><strong>Skills &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><p>● Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and attention to detail</p><p>● Excellent communication skills</p><p>● Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise discretion</p><p>● Familiar with the laws, labor market, hour, and wage regulations</p><p>● Strong communication and relationship building skills</p><p>● Strong project management and organizational skills</p><p>● Ability to adapt fast and be agile in a fast-moving environment</p> Cubii Chicago IL
