POSITION SUMMARY:

Under direction of the Director of Human Resources the Human Resources Generalist partners with other HR Team members to execute Omni's Human Resources strategic initiatives. This position focuses on benefit and leave of absence administration, HRIS management and performance review support, among other responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proudly and professionally represent Omni Glass & Paint, ensuring all employees have a first-class experience.

  • Achieve department and individual goals by following processes and tracking metrics.

  • Administration of the many benefits Omni Glass & Paint has to offer. Stay current on regulatory updates to ensure compliance, audit monthly invoices, etc.

  • Promote benefits to employees throughout the year. Create engaging communications and campaigns to keep benefits top of mind for employees.

  • HRIS administration. Ensure accuracy of data from new hire entry through benefit administration and beyond. Assist with ACA forms, etc. Become an ADP super-user.

  • Coordinate the annual open enrollment process. Assist with developing the self-serve option in ADP as well as on-site visits to each location for benefit education.

  • Support the performance review process and future development of that module in ADP.

  • Develop and maintain scopes of work, documenting HR procedures.

  • Work with preferred vendors when appropriate.

  • Working with the HR Specialist, coordinate the employment process, to include conducting new employee orientation, review of company policies and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all required new employee benefit paperwork and its entry into the HRIS system.

  • Maintain positive, proactive communication with employees at all levels in the organization.

  • Provides ad hoc reports to assist leadership in decision-making. Helps to identify trends and potential issues based on HR metrics.

  • Assists with all routine human resources functions as part of the HR Team.

  • Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Recruiting or Business Admin.

  • Demonstrated proficiency (intermediate level) in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Frequently required to talk and hear.

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and reach with arms. Frequently required to sit for long periods of time.

  • May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to use hands to finger, handle or touch objects, tools or controls.

  • Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
