Human Resources Generalist

Human Resource Generalist Essential Functions*:

• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.

• Source, screen, interview, and onboard candidates.

• Address employee issues promptly to include concerns, grievances, and investigations.

• Support the performance review process by guiding managers and assisting in developing and implementing performance management strategies.

• Aid in identifying training needs and working with managers to develop and implement training/development initiatives.

• Communicate and enforce HR policies in accordance with local, state, and federal labor laws.

• Stay updated with changes in labor laws and regulations and ensure organizational compliance with laws.

• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and organize employee-focused events.

• Administer corrective action following a progressive disciplinary model up to termination.

Human Resource Generalist Position Requirements*:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Labor/Industrial Relations, Business Management, Organizational Development, or related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years recent progressive HR Generalist experience which includes employee engagement/relations, manager/supervisor development and training, investigations and policy enforcement, disciplinary action, and related activities.

• Demonstrated ability to set priorities, manage high-volume workload, and willingness to be collaborative and support team efforts.

• Must possess excellent analytical, communication, leadership, organizational, presentation, problem-solving, project management, and decision-making skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office. PeopleSoft, Saba, Kronos, Taleo, and SAP experience preferred.

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

• This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives

• This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies.

• This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required
