Hours: 40 hours per week

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure a smooth and positive offboarding experience for associates, guiding them through the process and paperwork completion.

  • Coordinate the offboarding process with empathy and facilitating necessary separation procedures while preserving relationships and company goodwill.

  • Manage all associate offboarding processes and activities to include all HRIS daily Personnel Actions Form (PAF) entries and other actions through completion.

  • Generate reports, conduct analysis, and provide monthly metrics about associate experiences as part of organizational exit.

  • Maintain the source of truth for PAF status, ensure accuracy of data, and prepare weekly metrics of offboarding data.

  • Provide support to exiting associates in various HR-related topics such as next steps and responsibilities to assist in the resolution of issues that may arise.

  • Administer leave of absence programs including FMLA, short-term, and worker's compensation while ensuring all documentation is completed within federal guidelines.

  • Assist employees in understanding eligibility requirements, leave entitlements, and necessary procedures with compassion and fairness, ensuring associates feel supported.

  • Manage, track, and complete unemployment requests within 2 business days of receipt.

  • Manage and distribute employee contract termination notices 30-days prior to contact expiration.

  • Assist leaders and attorneys with reply to requests from EEOC, Wage and Hour, personnel requests, and maintain data confidentiality and perform tasks associated with Workers Compensation, Unemployment, and case file review.

  • Deliver associate exit surveys within seven business days, manage the incoming data, and report exit survey metrics weekly.

  • Produce benchmarking data, scorecards, charts, and other HR program reporting, including audits and recommendations for improvements.

  • Implements training for new managers in the process of completing PAF's in the payroll system.

  • Handles employment related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to appropriate supervisors.

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommends best practices.

  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date strategic planning manual with continuity BUS plan and goals.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.

  • 5+ years of related experience required.

  • Human Resources industry certification preferred.
