POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Human Resources Generalist provides expertise and support from our Las Vegas Corporate office across all areas within Human Resources and Talent Acquisition, but most noticeably in being an ambassador for the organization. The role will play an integral part of the employee and candidate experience through managing the interviewing life cycle from scheduling, travel arrangements, data integrity, onboarding, benefits, HR virtual and on-site experience(s). This role will be responsible for leading continuous improvement activities and HR KPI analytics along with support Recruiting, HR, and site leadership by ensuring that day-to-day tasks and requests are handled and documented.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Provide general support for our Recruiting Team and internal Hiring Managers throughout the entire recruiting life cycle, including scheduling interviews, coordinating travel, and conducting background checks.

  • Develop optimal processes to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information in the applicant tracking system.

  • Attend Career and Job Events representing the organization.

  • Assist with system integration and optimization efforts for HR, including task tracking, documenting, monitoring timelines, review resource needs, escalating as appropriate, and driving to completion.

  • Support the various HR areas with ad hoc projects and tasks, including operations, compensation and benefits, talent development and training, employee engagement, and other functions.

  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating HR processes, systems and procedures, proposing solutions, and driving solutions to completion.

  • Identify and drive continuous improvement solutions for the HR function.

  • Facilitate tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in HRIS and audits for accuracy and compliance.

  • Other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2-3 years of Human Resources/Recruiting with proficiency using ADP and/or other HR systems and technology.

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant field of study.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with HR cross functional teams, business operations, and other stakeholders within the business.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret information, make suggestions, and drive change.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated time management skills, and ability to retain responsiveness in a vibrant, multi-task environment.

DESIRED QUALITIES:

  • Experience and/or strong knowledge of overall Recruiting/HR practices, such as compensation benefits, talent management, DEI, and HR operations.

  • Experience working directly with/for senior leadership positions.

  • Experience developing and/or maintaining relationships with external organizations.

  • General project management skills and/or experience launching initiatives and programs.

  • Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office suite, including but not limited to Excel.
