Human Resources Generalist

MITER Brands also known as Milgard and MI Windows & Doors, is one of the nation's largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country. We are currently looking for Human Resources Generalist for our Sacramento, California manufacturing plant. This position will enhance the service that the HR Team will provide to the Sacramento and Denver locations.

Pay Range: $71k - $89k, depending on experience

Essential Functions

• Promote a positive, inclusive, learning and supportive work environment.

• Onboard new team members and provide ongoing education on company policies, benefits, and our culture.

• Responds to any and all inquiries regarding policies, procedures, programs, and benefits, etc.

• Assist in development programs for local leadership.

• Partners with leadership to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

• Maintains current knowledge of industry trends and practices regarding employment law and environment health and safety.

• Provide additional support to our swing shift team members.

Minimum Qualification

• Minimum of 4 hears Human Resources generalist experience preferably in a Manufacturing environment.

• Bachelor's degree preferably

• Sense of urgency and drive· Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills

Desired Experience

• Bi-Lingual in a second language - preferably Spanish, Chinese, or Tagalog (Filipino)
