Matura Farrington is partnering with a prominent firm in Los Angeles to fill an immediate opening for a skilled Human Resources Generalist. This role is ideal for a skilled HR professional eager to contribute to a collaborative environment with a strong focus on employee relations and policy compliance.
The HR Generalist will manage complex employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and ensure compliance with policies and employment laws. Reporting to the Director of HR, this position supports a positive workplace culture and addresses employee needs for accommodations and leave administration. Key Responsibilities Employee Relations Advise employees and managers on employment laws, policy compliance, and conflict resolution.
Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and policy violations, ensuring fairness and confidentiality. Support performance management processes, including reviews and evaluations. Collaborate with HR and management to resolve concerns and implement employee relations initiatives.
Employee Welfare Administer leave, accommodations, and workers' compensation claims per federal and state regulations. Coordinate with benefits and payroll teams to support employees on leave or accommodations. Update HR leadership on employee welfare issues, and recommend protocol improvements as needed.

Knowledge of employment laws (ADA, FMLA, etc.) and experience advising on performance management.
