DFMMJ Investments, LLC, d/b/a Liberty Health Sciences Florida, Ltd. is a Medical Marijuana Treatment Center that has been granted a license by the Florida Department of Health to cultivate, process, transport, and dispense low-THC cannabis, medical cannabis, and cannabis delivery devices pursuant to Florida Statutes.

The Human Resources Generalist will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations. To succeed in this role, you should be familiar using HR software and tools. The HR Generalist should be able to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR department and the organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Administer compensation and benefit plans

  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes

  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives

  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as time off, compensation and resolve any issues that may arise

  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace

  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies

  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates

  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form

  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits

  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations

  • Assist in Implementation of Learning Management System (LMS) that utilizes e-learning content for standardized training platform

  • Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist

  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures

  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws

  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus

  • Excellent communication and people skills

  • Aptitude in problem-solving

  • Desire to work as a team with results-driven approach

  • Must be over 21 years or older

  • Must be able to pass a Level II Background Check

Education

  • BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field

  • Additional HR training will be a plus
