Generalist, Human Resources sought by Del Monte Fresh Produce Company in Coral Gables, FL. 40 hrs/wk.
Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
Collaborates with Information Technology Department to develop customized reports, tailored to calculation and administration of the company's bonus program.
This also includes providing support in managing disbursement and analysis of payout.
Works closely with Reporting Manager to determine department goals, objectives and systems.
Monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.
Participates in staff meetings, and attends other department meetings, as related to ongoing employee improvement efforts.
Adhere to overall compliance with Company policies, guidelines and procedures. This also includes compliance with employment and benefits laws and regulations.
Assist with the management of the 401(K) program; ensure correct data collection and entry, verify attached documents, and conduct regular audits.
Provide support to HR Corporate Services projects (e.g. Global Pension, Global Positions and Proxy (as related to annual company budget)) as needed.
Compile all information and backup documentation for the fiscal year, with respect to executive benefit costs and company benefit contributions.
Reconcile all employee reimbursements and deductions to ensure adherence to approved budget, as related to tuition reimbursement program, new hire/existing employee relocations, leave of absence deductions, etc.
Receive employee performance evaluations on a monthly basis, review recommended merit increases and prepare month-end spreadsheet (including evaluation of differential changes in increases), for approval by upper management.
Complete Personnel Change Requests for promotions, and salary adjustments for all North America employees.
Build relationships at all levels, to ensure open communication and goal alignment between field operations and Human Resources functions.
Maintain employment records related to hiring, termination, leaves, transfer, and/or promotions.
Review existing department systems (i.e. Oracle database, Orgplus application, ReadSoft and Infinisource applications), and collaborate with Information Technology department to update system issues as needed.
Analyze employment related data to make recommendations for internal salary adjustments and/or promotions.
Research and gather information for special projects, as assigned by Vice President (HR) or Director (HR).
Minimum Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related, or foreign equivalent;
and 1 year of progressive experience as an HR Analyst.
3 years of experience with Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook);
2 years of experience with Oracle and ReadSoft applications;
2 years of experience with Performance Management Systems, Org Plus, and Infinisource Applications;
1 year of experience with conducting budget and forecasting analysis.
