Generalist, Human Resources sought by Del Monte Fresh Produce Company in Coral Gables, FL. 40 hrs/wk.

Accountabilities:

  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.

  • Collaborates with Information Technology Department to develop customized reports, tailored to calculation and administration of the company's bonus program.

  • This also includes providing support in managing disbursement and analysis of payout.

  • Works closely with Reporting Manager to determine department goals, objectives and systems.

  • Monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.

  • Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.

  • Participates in staff meetings, and attends other department meetings, as related to ongoing employee improvement efforts.

  • Adhere to overall compliance with Company policies, guidelines and procedures. This also includes compliance with employment and benefits laws and regulations.

  • Assist with the management of the 401(K) program; ensure correct data collection and entry, verify attached documents, and conduct regular audits.

  • Provide support to HR Corporate Services projects (e.g. Global Pension, Global Positions and Proxy (as related to annual company budget)) as needed.

  • Compile all information and backup documentation for the fiscal year, with respect to executive benefit costs and company benefit contributions.

  • Reconcile all employee reimbursements and deductions to ensure adherence to approved budget, as related to tuition reimbursement program, new hire/existing employee relocations, leave of absence deductions, etc.

  • Receive employee performance evaluations on a monthly basis, review recommended merit increases and prepare month-end spreadsheet (including evaluation of differential changes in increases), for approval by upper management.

  • Complete Personnel Change Requests for promotions, and salary adjustments for all North America employees.

  • Build relationships at all levels, to ensure open communication and goal alignment between field operations and Human Resources functions.

  • Maintain employment records related to hiring, termination, leaves, transfer, and/or promotions.

  • Review existing department systems (i.e. Oracle database, Orgplus application, ReadSoft and Infinisource applications), and collaborate with Information Technology department to update system issues as needed.

  • Analyze employment related data to make recommendations for internal salary adjustments and/or promotions.

  • Research and gather information for special projects, as assigned by Vice President (HR) or Director (HR).

Minimum Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related, or foreign equivalent;

  • and 1 year of progressive experience as an HR Analyst.

  • 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook);

  • 2 years of experience with Oracle and ReadSoft applications;

  • 2 years of experience with Performance Management Systems, Org Plus, and Infinisource Applications;

  • 1 year of experience with conducting budget and forecasting analysis.

Causley, LLC (a SAFEBuilt company), is currently looking for a Permit Expeditor in its Coral Gables office to keep jobs moving efficiently towards a Certificate of Occupancy. The ideal candidate will be expected to do the following: * Be proficient in writing and critical thinking skills. * Supervise, schedule, prioritize, assign, train and review permitting work of team, as developed. * Plan, direct and participate in the permit process including processing applications, tracking, reviewing results, scheduling inspection requests, issuance of permits and reviewer follow-up. Follow up on fees and invoices. * Act as point of contact for any developer, architect, contractor or owner inquiry on pending and previous submittals. * Prepare plan review letters to permit applications and TCPs. * Provide information and assistance to city/county staff and the public regarding assigned programs and services. * Prepare monthly statistical and budgetary reports for permitting division. * Assist with development of annual budget and goals for permitting division. * Review Construction Documents to verify all documents are received from expeditor, clients, engineers and subcontractors. * Assist senior staff with administrative duties as required. * Ability to create databases in Microsoft Access to track and report data * Compiling and submitting all necessary administrative paperwork, documentation and statistical data for reports. * Ability to organize public events. * Possess excellent organization, problem-solving and communication (both oral and written) skills. * Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community. * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from professionals as well as the general public. * Track and record the approval of permit submissions for multiple projects * Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening, weekend and holiday assignments. * Ability to work well in a quiet multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment. * Ability to provide transportation to work at indoor and outdoor special events. Requirements: * A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in English, Business, Engineering or other related fields and significant professional experience is a minimum requirement. * Excellent writing, editing, proofing, and overall communication skills. * Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint). * Great organizational skills and logistics planning with at least 3 years of experience. * Knowledgeable in FL building code is a plus, but not required * Ability to act with judgment, confidence, and personal initiative, as well as capable of working in a fast-paced and highly visible environment. Skills: * Read and interpret documents and interact with co-workers.
