The Human Resources Generalist position provides support for the IS&S organization and the Kroger Technology Manager (KTM's) in employee relations,performance management, recruiting, candidate selection, on-boarding, and overall strategic business partnership. Interact with the legal departmentregarding employment issues and effective balance associate and department issues. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect,honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.
Essential Job Functions:
Support the HR Manager with implementing HR processes and procedures, employee relations, and associate communications.
Assist with Performance Excellence Discussion (PED) process and performance management plans.
Support the recruitment, selection, and on-boarding process for the IS&S function in partnership with the GO Recruiter.
Provide guidance and direction regarding compensation (offers of employment, job leveling, promotional increases and merit increases) and assurealignment with company compensation plan.
Assist with New Hire Orientation for all new and transferred General Office associates.
Conduct exit interviews to identify and track trends that may impact retention.
Support the HR Manager in facilitating the partnership with the IS&S Cultural Council to ensure an inclusive business culture.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
3-5 years previous human resources experience preferabley in a technical organization
Excellent oral and written communication skills
The ability to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organization
Ability to interact well in a team environment
Effectively able to prioritize and handle multiple projects and responsibilities
Ability to build and maintain cooperative business partnerships
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Understanding of the retail grocery business
Desired Previous Job Experience
Bachelor's degree or comparable experience
Previous experience in recruiting/hiring, training and development, coaching, employee relations, and/or compensation
PHR or SPHR certification
