Due to growth we are currently seeking to add a Human Resources Generalist to our exceptional team. You will be responsible for all human resource related tasks, candidate sourcing, new employee onboarding success and continuing employee development. You will need to be outgoing, trustworthy, a team player, hyper-organized, and detail-oriented.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting and sourcing potential candidates for Charles IT
  • Scheduling and conducting phone screens with detailed notes
  • Maintain documentation within hiring platform and other utilized tools
  • Schedule interviews for candidates and internal team members
  • Plan and administer new employee onboardings
  • Run and plan day 1 training and introductions
  • Ensure successful completion of all 60 day internal processes
  • Administer the Endless Improvement Program with ConnectWise Manage
  • Update and continuous development of tracks and paths for technicians
  • Provide quarterly individual goal follow ups and reminders
  • Conduct employee offboarding exit interviews
  • Coordinate employee offboarding administrative tasks
  • Assist in Zenefits (HR Platform) management
  • Assist in administering the healthcare and related benefit plans
  • Document and assist in all HR related activities
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in the industry.
  • Human Resources certification a plus.
  • 2+ Years of experience in the industry required.
  • Experience with ConnectWise and human resource platforms a plus.
  • Superior communication skills required.
  • Ability to multi-task and function collaboratively as a member of a fast-paced, client orientated team
  • Enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenges of a growing company and client base
  • Excellent follow-through to see tasks through completion
  • Self-starter with the ability to perform independently with little or no supervision
  • High level of organization; strong attention to detail
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Current, valid US driver's license is required

Area 2: All currently employed full-time temporary technician personnel and all current traditional members of the Connecticut Army National Guard. Learn more about this agency Responsibilities This is an indefinite position that may convert to permanent without further competition. JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to serve as program support to the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) Strength Manager. The mission is to adhere to the three tenets of the Strength Maintenance Program: recruitment, retention, and attrition of all Health Care, Chaplain, and Staff Judge Advocate (SJA) professionals within the state. NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED. This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the Connecticut Army National Guard. The major duties include, but are not limited to: * Provides technical guidance and procedural support to the AMEDD Strength Manager, Recruiting & Retention Manager, Officer Strength Manager, Military Personnel Office(MILPO), State Surgeon/Deputy State Surgeon, State Chaplain, State SJA, commanders, unit personnel, field recruiters, and healthcare ministry and legal professionals. * Participates in developing and implementing written policies and guidelines pertaining to recruiting and retention programs for AMEDD, Chaplain, and SJA positions such as local regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Coordinates and participates in recruiting efforts both locally and nationally at recruiting events such as medical conferences, medical school and dental school programs. * Serves as a principle point of contact for applicants and other interested parties during the recruiting and application process. * Provides monthly reports and regular updates to the AMEDD Strength Manager, Recruiting and Retention Manager, NGB and/or Credentialing Officer to advise on the status of accessions or losses of the various career fields. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Your resume and any other supporting documentation you wish to provide must clearly substantiate you currently possess 12 months of specialized experience in the following: * Experience at the GS-07 level or the equivalent which provided a basic working knowledge of National Guard missions, organizations, and personnel programs. * Experience of personnel programs gained in a classroom or as an on-the-job trainee. * Experience demonstrating competency of human resources business elements and can discuss terminology, concepts, principles, and issues related to this competency. * Experience in using references and resource materials and experienced in program functions such as, maintaining personnel records, counseling, or classification and assignments. * Experience performing personnel functions associated with preparing and maintaining position descriptions and manual records, personnel classification or usage, quality force management, managing personnel records and researching record data. * Experience in operating a computer and using varied computer programs.
