The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for fostering and evolving our culture as a caring, purpose driven workplace, all colleague communication through internal marketing channels and the first point of contact for colleagues.
Other areas will include colleague appreciation, recognition, wellness, wellbeing and volunteer activities. The role will entail data entry/data integrity, supporting other HR professionals, providing customer service for our colleagues and applicants while maintaining the day-to-day administrative function of a highly active Human Resources office. Special projects and assignments as needed for the function and the hotel are included in this role.
Strong interpersonal skills and an engaging personality that aligns with our purpose and core values are required. The HR Generalist will represent the HR team and Hyatt brand in a friendly and positive manner in all interactions. This individual will manage multiple competing priorities and must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual Spanish/English Required (refined verbal and written communication skills in both ENG/SPN)
