Job Description:
The Human Resources Generalist will perform duties at the professional level to support a variety of HR processes for the Corporate Office groups and overall organization. The position requires an extremely perceptive person who can relate to individuals at all levels in the organization. The position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Role and Responsibilities:
Provide HR support to team members and leaders in Corporate functions (including Finance and Legal) throughout the team member lifecycle, including onboarding, focused touch bases, leaves, accommodations, proactive performance management coaching, talent reviews, goal development, exit interviews
Analyze and discuss compensation market data as requested
Work with Hiring Leaders and Recruiting team for job intake process to ensure equity plus providing assistance with scheduling candidates and gathering feedback
Direct background check/drug screen process for Corporate
Plan and deliver new team member orientation/onboarding to foster positive attitude towards company goals
Serve as a Corporate Office liaison to assist company-wide initiatives such as annual healthcare enrollment, policy implementation, compliance, wellbeing initiatives, and recognition
Ensure Corporate Office has all required employee-related postings posted at the facility (EEO, Wage and Hour, OSHA), and any required local or state postings
Drive administration of E-Verify through Workday including daily review of pending verifications and acting to process and finalize, leading communication and resolving related issues
Heavy engagement in Workday including completion of business processes for direct hires, recruited hires, promotions, compensation changes, terminations, etc.
Participate in other HR-related projects as needed
Required Experience:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field
Five (5) years' experience in Human Resources
Required Skills:
Demonstrate high level of competency in the areas of employee relations, counseling, performance management, and training
Experience in organization development and change management
Working knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions (including by not limited to FMLA, EEO, ADA etc.)
Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities
Ability to work collaboratively with others and sustain positive relationships at all levels of the organization, operating with tact and diplomacy
Ability to work with and preserve confidential information
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Highly flexible and can be called upon to lead projects as needed
Excellent time management and organizational skills in managing through multiple priorities
Possesses strong work ethic; self-motivated with a desire to look for ways to improve processes and create efficiencies
Strong proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite; very strong Excel skills
Demonstrates analytical reasoning, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
Ability to travel, if/when needed
Preferred Experience:
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience using HRIS systems (preferably Workday)
