We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead HR operations and strategic initiatives for a healthcare clinic. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in HR within healthcare, with expertise in recruitment, employee relations, training, benefits administration, and legal compliance.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the HR Director will work closely with leadership to ensure a high-performing, compliant, and employee-focused culture. Responsibilities: Drive HR strategies in alignment with organizational goals and support business growth. Manage the full employee life cycle: recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and exit interviews.
Oversee benefit administration (health, dental, retirement, COBRA, FMLA, CFRA) and handle compliance with labor laws. Lead talent acquisition and employee engagement initiatives. Advise on grievance management and labor relations, including union negotiations.
Implement management training programs and succession planning for key talent. Ensure HR policies are up-to-date, compliant, and effectively communicated to all staff. Investigate employee concerns and manage employee relations with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (required) or related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum of 2 years of healthcare HR experience. Minimum of 5 years in leadership. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of federal/state labor laws, HR best practices, and healthcare regulations. Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in HRIS systems, MS Word, and Excel.
