Human Resource Director

Genuine and Jack are looking for a HumanResources Director to serve as a strategic business partner across brands inour Boston location. The HR Directorensures that all human resources components support and drive businessplans. These components includerecruiting, staff development & training, performance management, employeerelations, succession planning and compensation. They will also manage corporate HR programsas assigned.

Key Accountabilities:

Strategic Business Partner

  • As a member of the leadership team, recommend and implement HRinitiatives that support meeting agency and local operations goals

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and sought after resource for seniorleadership

  • Oversee recruiting and related processes to ensure theorganization has the talent needed for current and future growth

  • Support and counsel Managing Directors and agency leaders inemployee relations issues

  • Lead the performance review and compensation process ensuring fairand competitive pay practices that reflect individual contributions to theorganization

  • With operation leadership, manage the climate to inspirecommitment, loyalty, pride, and spirit in the organization

TalentManagement

  • Develop employees' abilities and capabilities so they can grow andsee a long term future with the company through mentoring, training andperformance management

  • Inaddition to owning select open requisitions, build and maintain a pipeline oftop talent in anticipation of future needs

  • Implement and train managers andemployees on agency career paths to ensure all employees understand thewhat and how to get to the next level

  • Identify and lead employeeinitiatives to meet HR goals or enhance workplace climate

  • Oversee and lead complex employeerelations issues

  • Identify and drive programs thatresult in successful HR metrics: turnover, training & performance managementannual results

Corporate Initiatives

  • Assume responsibility for company-wide HR initiatives that supportour strategic objectives to lead the industry and grow talent

Requirements:

  • BA/BS required

  • Eight (8) years increasing HR experience; related industryexperience preferred and prior recruiting experience required

  • Ability to think strategically and be executional

  • Prior experience advising and influencing senior leaders in allmatters related to talent

  • Success working in a fast paced, ever changing environment

  • In-depth knowledge of HR generalist practices and broad knowledgeof business

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Sound judgment and dynamic problem-solving skills

  • Employee-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism anddiscretion

  • Ability to move quickly with the information at hand and addresschallenges head on

  • Strong leadership skills and competencies: business vision, creative thinking,accountability for results, client focus, developing others, team leadership,cross- organization collaboration

  • Understanding of HR best practices and current local regulations
