Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree required. Emphasis in human resources management preferred.

Position Requirements

One to three years prior human resources or employee training and development experience, required; Prior experience in health care useful; Extensive experience in the human resources field may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree. Demonstrated computer skills desirable.

This position will handle a wide variety of administrative duties that will involve using initiative, good judgment, good communication (interpersonal, grammar, telephone skills), organizational skills and discretion. This position will also provide significant project management and events coordination support to the Human Resources programs overall. Essential Job Responsibilities * Oversee front desk operations, providing phone system support and managing the flow of internal and external visitors to the Human Resources Office. * Oversee the human resources supply management and manage the inventory of supplies and resources needed to manage programs. * Completion of mail distribution and the daily receipt register. * Compilation of new hire and termination packets. * Provide administrative support for the department Sr. Director (10-15%). * Filing of all employee updates/paperwork in the personnel files. * Administrative support for benefits, payroll, recruiting, employee relations, engagement, learning & development functions, as well as the employee resource groups, as needed. * Manage and maintain internal communication platforms (to include newsletters, internal employee website, etc.) to provide necessary information to employees and to ensure accuracy and consistency in those communications. * Assistance with coordination and facilitation of employee engagement processes and programs. * Collects and compiles statistics for human resources metrics reporting purposes. * Perform other duties as assigned to maintain the efficient functioning of the HR department. Minimum Requirements * An associate's degree or higher (or current pursual of a degree) from an accredited college or university or a combination of work and education to have the knowledge, skills and abilities to be successful in the role. * Three to five (3-5) years' experience in an administrative assistance role. * Absolute discretion in handling confidential information. * Advanced Microsoft Office product skills (Publisher, Excel, Word, Outlook). * Strong creativity skills in event planning including communications with vendors, marketing materials and any additional resources needed to complete employee engagement projects or event activities. * Strong Project Management skills. * Excellent customer service skills. * Excellent time management organizational skills with a focus on multi-tasking. * Excellent communication skills whether written or verbal. * Good at setting priorities and working within various timelines and deadlines. * Exercise good judgment. * The ability to comprehend, retain and follow oral and written instructions in order to perform a wide variety of administrative services. ADA Requirements * Sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting and kneeling. * Occasional lifting/carrying of up to 10 pounds. * Visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Physical Demands Operation of a motor vehicle is required. Incumbent will utilize a computer for the majority of tasks. Cognitive Skills Incumbent will exercise good judgment while setting priorities utilizing creative/ innovative solutions to help deliver superior service to the organization.
