Job Description: We want to expand and add another member to our HR team. The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support to the Personnel Administrator on all personnel matters.

Will perform the following: Customer Service functions by answering employee requests and questions, benefit enrollments and administration, I-9 documentation, online investigation requests and employee background checks, reconciliation of the benefits statements, payroll/benefit-related reconciliations to General Ledger and other accounts, conducting audits of various payroll deductions, other HR programs and recommends any corrective action, administrative processing of terminations, and preparation of the performance reviews. Also assists the HR Team with various research projects and/or special projects, makes photocopies, faxes documents and performs other clerical functions, files papers and documents into appropriate employee files, prepares new employee files, and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Education and or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Quality control: The individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors their work to ensure quality.

  • Adaptability: The individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and can deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.

  • Dependability: The individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, solicits feedback to improve performance, and can protect personal and private information.

  • Drive: The individual is willing and able to grow into a more challenging position.

  • Proficient: The individual is skilled in Microsoft Office- Excel and Word.

  • History: Two years experience in a Human Resource role or equivalent in education.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

  • Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.

  • Limited physical activity is required.

  • No or minimal exposure to physical risk.

  • No or minimal physical effort is required.

  • Work performed in-office setting.
