Are you looking to build a strong career? Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for Human Resources (HR) Coordinator located at our Presto facility in Carrollton, TX.

Your Role:

As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and performing various tasks such as answering phones, recruiting, HR administrative tasks and other support as needed. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Providing Human Resources administrative support to the facility

  • Manage multiple vendor payments and maintain payment log

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information

  • Assist with coordination of Company programs as necessary

Ultimately, you will use your organization skills to assist with day-to-day operations of the team and will help ensure that our employees are getting answers for their questions.

We need you to have:

  • Associates degree in a related field

  • 1+ years of administrative experience

  • Excellent capabilities with Microsoft Office, including Excel

  • HRIS system, ADP, or other related system experience

Responsibilities * Review and revise HR policies in compliance with changing or new legislation. * Develop and revise HR policies in compliance with changing or new legislation. * Keep managers informed on anti-discrimination regulations. * Plan, direct, supervise and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, recruitment, compensation, labor relations and employee relations. * Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, terminations, compensation and turnover stats. * Prepare and follow budgets for the Human Resources department. * Oversee the evaluation, classification and rating of occupations and job positions. * Develop and/or administer special projects in areas such as pay equality and employee rewards programs. * Receive employee complaints and act accordingly to resolve issues. * Counsel and assist Management with employee discipline and terminations as they relate to Company policy and employment law. * Utilize outside resources in order to monitor issues and concerns in employment law, communicating potential changes to senior management. * Train prospective supervisors in conflict management, leadership and employee relations. * Conduct annual site visits to all major sites to maintain and/or improve employee relationships. * Compliance with ELS Safety program policies and procedures. * Maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under the employer's insurance policy. * Work with HR Managers from sister companies to find and develop mutual policies. * Perform additional duties/assignments as may be required by management. Qualifications * High School Diploma and 15 years' experience HR Management or Bachelor's Degree and 5 years' experience in HR management. * 5+ years' experience working in a multi-state environment. * 5+ years' experience working in both union and non-union environments. * Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in MS Office * Ability to travel up to 25% * 3+ years' experience in conducting training in a classroom environment. * 1+ years' experience with Affirmative Action programs. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years' experience in HR management * PHR or SPHR Certification * 8+ years' working in a multi-state environment * 8+ years' working in both union and non-union environments. * 5+ years' experience in union negotiations. * 3+ years' experience with Affirmative Action programs ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE * Ability to maintain confidentiality * Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills * Ability to influence and persuade management level employees * Excellent problem-solving skills * Ability to communicate to interpret and explain written and statistical data to a wide range of audiences. * Attention to detail a must. * Ability to convey difficult and challenging information to managers. * Ability to manage time and prioritize work.
