The Spirit of the Position:

LAZ Parking is looking for a Full-Time Human Resources Coordinator to join our Denver team. The Human Resources Coordinator reports to the Human Resources Business Partner and Revenue Manager and is responsible for maintaining the HRIS, managing employee files, recruitment, adhering to compliance regulations and policies, daily revenue and cash reporting, coordination of billing, account reconciliation, month end closing entries and other office administrative duties.


  • Record all personnel transactions such as new hires, promotions, benefits, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics in HRIS and payroll systems for all employees; generate reports upon request.

  • Update HRIS System to reflect all necessary employee status changes.

  • Assist in recruitment for the region, including: recruitment, postings ads, resume screening and potentially interviewing.

  • Responsible for the oversight of the parking system financial operations.

  • Daily Revenue and Cash Reporting Complete all aspects related to daily cash and revenue reporting, including the compilation of reports required to complete daily reporting

  • Fulfill expectations related to daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting requirements.

  • Understand, implement and deliver all financial reporting requirements that are outlined within the contractual agreement between LAZ Parking and our client.

  • Maintaining the highest level of customer service thresholds and initiatives that are aligned with the expectations of our client.

  • Perform other administrative related duties as required and assigned.


  • 1-3 years administrative experience

  • 1-2 years related HR/Revenue Coordinator experience preferred, not required

  • Prior experience with HRIS or other HR technology desired but not required


  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, strong internet skills using external websites

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time in order to meet set deadlines

  • Proven problem-solving abilities

  • Attention-to-detail and high-level of accuracy required

  • Ability to seek improvement and create an environment of idea sharing and creative problem solving.

  • Excellent team-building and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and multi-task.

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices.

  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.

Duties and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below: * Provides support to HR team members to ensure HR is aligned with business priorities * Works closely with HRBP's to ensure necessary coordination for new hires and employee onboarding * Supports executive onboarding through scheduling specific meetings and communicating agendas * Processes and tracks education assistance applications for all locations * Serves as a focal point for company-wide programs such as service awards, new hire gift deployment * Serves as a central point of contact for incident report completion/tracking and responding to information requests related to vehicle usage (ie, drivers licenses) * Compiles and completes the annual OSHA logs * Tracks unemployment usage/cost, identifying opportunities for improvement company-wide * Supports information requests in response to formal complaints, audits, etc., through data collection and reporting * Assists HRBP's with the completion of job descriptions and compensation requests forms * Monitors required policy completion, alerting HRBP's to outstanding items * Tracks and reports on company-wide activity and participation in various programs such as health & wellness * Serves as a point of contact for electronic filing system management Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education: * High School Diploma or GED * Bachelor's Degree in a related field (human resources, business, etc.) is strongly preferred Experience: * 2-3 years' experience in human resources * Must be able to manage conflicting priorities and to meet established timelines while maintaining accuracy * Must possess an approachable and professional demeanor, have highly effective written and verbal communication skills * Must possess the ability to work in a team based environment and to interface with all levels of employees * Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality in dealing with all documents, files, conversations, etc. * Must possess outstanding organization ability, with demonstrated skill in handling multiple priorities Computer Skills: * Advanced Email, Spreadsheet, Presentation knowledge * Advanced level experience in all GSuite products preferred * Experience with an HRIS, from an end user standpoint, is strongly preferred Physical Demands/Working Conditions: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
