About the Job
Position Summary:
Hitachi Astemo Americas, Inc. Findlay, Ohio location is a Tier 1 supplier of brake systems for automotive and non-automotive applications. As the HR Assistant Manager you will report to the HR Manager and work with a team of HR professionals in a high-volume work environment.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Payroll Processing-back up
Benefit Management
Code and track invoices and expenses for the HR department
Contributes to team effort by cross training and helping wherever needed
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
Support daily requests
Work on Business improvements objectives outlined as personal business plans
Recruitment of Hourly and Salary staff
______________________________________________________________________Required Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in similar manufacturing role
Strong computer skills, especially in Excel
Strong detail oriented and accuracy of work
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing across all levels of the organization in a clear and concise manner
Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing priorities and situations without a loss of effectiveness
Ability to work in a small office
Ability to handle confidential information
Occasionally able to work outside of normal hours as needed to meet deadlines
Ability to work independent with little supervision
Experience leading/supervising a team

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or business
Automotive manufacturing environments
Knowledge of ADP HRIS system
Experience working for a self-insured company
