Job Duties:

  • Assist the HR team in the creation of executive-level presentations and materials within Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for HR initiatives, such as: Weekly metrics update, talent reviews, functional updates, salary planning, and other similar initiatives

  • Responsible for AppreciatingU recognition system, which will include loading budgets in the system, validating award nominations, coordination of delivery for service anniversary awards, and management of back-billing

  • Responsible for educational tuition reimbursement, which will include validation of educational institution, review of course request, and processing reimbursement requests and associated coordination with employees

  • Complete preparation for functional talent reviews, including making presentation binders, updating talent profiles, scheduling of reviews, etc.

  • Complete HR transactions for HR Business Partners, such as updating salaries, internal transfers, department changes, etc.

  • Exit processing, which will include transactional tasks, email communication, and exit interview coordination

  • Perform PeopleSoft queries, research and data analysis tasks in support of HR projects

  • Leading coordination of all logistics for events; to include recruiting events, internal meetings/conferences, and training

  • Provide overall departmental administrative support to the Human Resources team, including meeting scheduling, supplies

  • Provide best-in-class service to candidates and internal clients, acting with the greatest amount of professionalism, and with the highest sense of urgency. This will include instances of escorting candidates on campus during their interviews

  • Schedule interviews and travel arrangements for candidates, including associated expense processing

  • Maintain standard work documents and the HR team's SharePoint site.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience

  • Proficient experience with MS Office, to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, customer service environment

  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Expert certification

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Ability to generate reports and perform analysis utilizing MS Office tools and create subsequent graphs and charts for use in presentations

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers

  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, rapidly changing business environment, as well as be adaptable

  • Demonstrated ability to process a high volume of error-free detailed work in a short time frame

  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees, including executives

  • Be a self-starter and team player

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

VIEW JOBS 10/6/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-04T00:00 Position Summary: To be fully engaged in providing Quality / No Harm, Customer Experience, and Stewardship by managing comprehensive Human Resource generalist functions and delivering internal employee relations consulting services for a Health First hospital or hospital/business entity combination. Primary Accountabilities * Effectively monitors compliance with all required Human Resource Joint Commission, CMS, and AHCA standards and annual mandatory requirements. * Supports the coordination and communication of the annual Gallup Workplace Excellence * Creates and oversees a system-wide monitoring system designed to proactively identify controllable situations/circumstances that undermine associate performance, contributions, and morale; recommends intervention strategies. * Administers various human resource plans, policies and procedures for all associates at assigned location(s) to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and criteria set by regulatory/accrediting bodies, e.g. The Joint Commission, CMS, AHCA. * Acts as internal consultant to leaders at all levels and non-managers regarding legal/regulatory issues and HR issues affecting associates and the workplace. * Collaborates with Quality and Outcomes Department to ensure ongoing regulatory survey readiness and compliance. Participates in all surveys; provides guidance to management and information to surveyors during survey process. * Partners in the development and implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures and in maintaining Associate Handbook, Policies and Procedures Manual, and on-line resources (Managers Tool Box, Associate Tool Box, etc.) * Serves as the first level of review in an associate problem review procedure beyond the department director level. * Initiates and maintains strategies to achieve high associate morale and job satisfaction through the Gallup Engagement survey, exit surveys, stay interviews and maintaining an open door policy for all Health First associates. * Ensures management compliance with the ESU Performance Review, Associate Score Card and Merit Pay process. * Coordinates and monitors the distribution of monthly reports to management regarding * Upcoming or overdue evaluations, license/certification renewals, and other mandatory requirements; recommends program changes as appropriate. * Contributes to task forces and quality improvement/lean initiatives; attends appropriate Department Head and site leadership meetings, meetings with individual department management, as well routine HR Leadership and team meetings * Designs, develops and implements strategies to retain top talent. * Quickly recognizes inappropriate behavior or poor performance by managers/leaders and takes the actions necessary to correct unacceptable behavior or improve performance. * Acts quickly with managers responsible to ensure inappropriate or unacceptable associate performance or behavior is dealt with fairly but firmly according to the Progressive Corrective Action Guidelines with the objective to transform and develop associates. * Serves as HR representative at Unemployment Hearings to ensure fair, accurate response to and appropriate challenge of all claims and to protect Health First legitimate business interests. * Manages investigation of EEOC/FCHR charges and litigation charges. * Serves as Health First point person in gathering all documentation, and witnesses, necessary including investigation and witness statements to support the related defense by external counsel. Participates in mediations and depositions, as needed.
