Position Summary:

The Human Resources Coordinator provides human resources support to all associates within a designated region. This position is the key point of contact for all human resource related tasks, including but not limited to benefits, new hire orientations, general HR questions, 30/60 day onboarding calls, 90 day performance appraisals and exit interviews.

Qualifications and Education:

  • A high school diploma or equivalency is required.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, or Business Administration or 3-5 years of experience in related field.

Essential Functions:

  • Treats staff members according to the Company Mission Statement and Guiding Principles.

  • Establish internal and external relationships of mutual trust and respect.

  • Have sound knowledge of Human Resources Policies and Procedures.

  • Handles HR Information discreetly and maintains confidentiality.

  • Serve as the human resource contact and provide HR support for all associates.

  • Have clear understanding of Federal and State employment laws and regulations for all states in which the company conducts business.

  • Respond to internal and external HR related requests and provide assistance.

  • Initiate and manage onboarding process, and conduct all new associate orientations as assigned.

  • Have sound knowledge of company policies and benefits packages to assist employees with benefit and other concerns.

  • Conduct 30 and 60 day onboarding calls with new employees to ensure new hires are engaged and adjusting in their new roles.

  • Send 90 Day and Annual Performance Appraisal listings to Managers.

  • Conduct exit interviews for terminating associates and maintain exit interview log.

  • Collect and verify all active license(s) for new clinical licensed associate.

  • Maintain associate e-files.

  • Conduct annual audit of associate e-files to ensure files are accurate and up-to-date.

  • Maintain Human Resource Coordinator Procedures Manual.

  • Assist with the creation of HR training materials.

  • Manage HR Toolbox communications and distribute to new Managers.

  • Liaise with other departments or functions (Clinical Services, Credentialing, Continuing Education, etc.).

  • Conduct benefit orientations for associate status changes.

  • Initiate Qualified Life Event packets when requested, log information and provide follow-up for paperwork.

  • Respond to phone calls and emails through the HR Information line and designated HR Info email box. Responds to both calls and emails in a timely manner.

  • Refers inquiries to appropriate staff member within the HR Department when necessary.

  • Manage HR Info Email box on a rotating schedule.

  • Manage Onboarding Email box on a rotating schedule.

  • Act as a back-up to other HRC's during absences.

  • Participate in HR staff meetings and HRC meetings to maintain clear lines of communication.

  • Handle Request for Hire/Requisition from Operator.

  • Conducts background checks and creates/sends offer letters for all new hires.

  • Perform other HR functions as assigned.
