We are seeking a results-oriented individual to work as an HR Consultant in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment. One position is available at this time in the St. Louis, MO office.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
Provide guidance and expertise to a client base in HR-related areas such as employment law compliance, employee relations, leaves of absence/ADA, performance management, etc.
Advise on and resolve a full range of internal and external customer requests and projects related to multiple areas within HR
Develop, revise, and implement HR policies and procedures for a range of clients depending on their scope of needs
Assist with developing, coordinating, and recommending changes for the improvement of workflow with processes related to HR for each assigned client
Partner with clients to manage HRIS implementations while also maintaining HR systems and compliant employee personnel files
Deliver practical solutions to clients including employee relations and performance management, payroll processing, benefit administration including COBRA and billing reconciliation, etc.
Conduct audits of human resource activities to ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, policies and procedures
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in business administration, human resources or a related field
Current HR certification designation (either SHRM or HRCI)
Two-three years of professional-level experience in human resources
Experience managing HR functions across multiple states
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
At least 3 years of demonstrated HR experience
Demonstrated project management experience will distinguish more sought-after candidates
Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
Effective presentation skills
Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite software tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
