Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Greenville, SC - in office

Job Type: Full Time, exempt

Job Summary:

PAI Pharma is searching for an experienced and enthusiastic Human Resources Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our growing team in our Greenville, SC office. Reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO), the HR Business Partner will be playing a key role in aligning our HR initiatives and functions with business objectives and business needs across the company. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of HR practices and employee management and gear their expertise to deliver value-added service to leaders and employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and state and federal employment laws while escalating concerns as appropriate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a trusted partner to leadership on strategic and operational HR issues, providing HR guidance when appropriate.

  • Point of contact for internal employees, operational groups, and organization for Employee Relations.

  • Conducts and attends weekly meetings with respective business functions.

  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.

  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Liaison between company and legal advisory team.

  • Works closely with the Talent Management Team to implement HR activities for the various departments in areas such as:

  • Workforce planning

  • Succession Planning

  • Onboarding and Engagement

  • Performance Management

  • Employee Surveys

  • Career Paths

  • Provides advice and coaching to the leadership team on employee relations.

  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

  • Conducts stay interviews and exit interviews, listening to employee feedback and providing guidance to leaders.

  • Conducts employee round table discussions to learn what is working well across the company and where there are opportunities for improvement.

  • Execute action plans in a timely manner.

  • Works closely with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

  • Work with the various department leaders to execute action items resulting from employee surveys.

  • Work closely with Talent Management to develop training and informational sessions regarding policies and processes.

  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

  • Work closely with the HR Operations Manager to ensure employee compensation changes meet HR guidelines.

  • Contributes to HR projects, preparing leadership presentations and reports.

  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, or related field,

  • Minimum 5+ years of Human Resources Business Partner experience, resolving complex employee relations issues.

  • Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, and performance management.

  • SHRM or equivalent professional certification preferred, or the ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or related software. Strong ability to work with spreadsheets and to create presentations, preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to maintain composure in all situations and able to maintain a high level of confidentiality, diplomacy, and trust

  • Ability to remain flexible with multiple routine changes and interruptions

  • Thorough understanding of Federal and South Carolina state employment laws

  • Experienced with various HR Information Systems

  • Ability to organize and complete multiple assignments on time with accuracy

  • Ability to influence without authority

  • Ability to work independently without guidance
