Partners with business/functional leaders at the mid to senior level to influence the design and execution of the business strategy by providing consultative support and leadership.Translates the business plan into talent and organizational plans and drives for results by building organizational capability and performance. Liaisons with HR Centers of Excellence and Service Center to ensure optimal HR collaboration and service levels to clients. The individual in this role will support the Corporate Enterprise-Wide functions (Finance, Human Resources, Ventures & Strategy, Legal, Compliance, and Communications).

  • Builds relationships with mid to senior level clients. Is a trusted and credible partner who anticipates needs and proactively recommends solutions.

  • Serves as an active member of the leadership team in assigned business/function andis able toinfluence and challenge others at this level

Strategy & Planning

  • Consults with leaders to develop and execute business strategy to build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures andprocess. Provides strategic direction and influences at all levels in order to drive implementation of the strategy

  • Translates the business plan into talent and organizational plan (e.g.in conjunction with the HR Director (HRBP), contributes to the People Strategy for assigned business toinclude:organizational re-design, strategic workforce planning, total rewards solutions, succession planning and talent management, organizational development and employee engagement of workforce)

  • Optimizes transformational change efforts by providing consulting support, guidance and a framework for leading and managing change

  • Responsible for succession planning / pipeline to ensure leadership talent in support the business strategy

  • Partners with andinfluences HRCenters of Excellence and HR Service Center to ensure the business is receiving optimal service andvalue addedprograms that are aligned with business strategy.

  • Usesoutcome basedmetrics supplied by HR Service Center to identify trends and influence the business

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Work Experience: 7+ years exempt level Human Resources experience; 5+ years as HRBP Preferred Work Experience: N/A Physical and Mental Requirements: N/A Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in MS Office products and HR systems

  • Understanding of state and federal labor laws and regulations

Responsible for managing material replenishment and material movement activities for Regional Hub Laboratories, Regional Support Laboratories, Rapid Response Labs, Patient Services Centers and IOPs. The Regional Material Manager will oversee all aspects of the material management process including material replenishment, requisitioning, delivery, receipt and internal distribution of products. The Regional Material Manager must effectively manage inventory levels &amp; item availability assuring laboratory operational objectives are met.</p><ul><li><p>Assure ongoing compliance of material management system with all applicable and current Internal Audit, Compliance, College of American Pathologists (CAP), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Finance and Materials Management, policies and procedures.</p></li><li><p>Manage a multi-site Regional Materials Management team, including warehouse staff.</p></li><li><p>Act as liaison between requisitioners and the Corporate Purchasing Operations Center (POC), including but not limited to requisition review, tracking of open orders, resolution of backorders, problem resolution, Supplier input, management of product quality issues in region, returns and damaged goods.</p></li><li><p>Insure all key performance indicators (KPI's) meet or exceed targets including backorders, inventory turns, internal Turn-around-Times, Inventory accuracy and productivity targets etc.</p></li><li><p>Effectively manages inventories and replenishment processes through the corporate Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (PeopleSoft/StockClerk).</p></li><li><p>Develop direct reports in all supply chain areas including planning, inventory management and cost analysis.</p></li><li><p>Utilizing lean/Six Sigma tools to drive year-over-year reductions in supply and service costs through continuous improvement initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with Corporate Procurement, Regional Operations Leadership and laboratory departments to develop systems and processes to enhance laboratory supply management.</p></li><li><p>Interface with Regional Leadership team members assuring proper material management support of key initiatives including new business acquisition, major platform changes, new facility start-ups and consolidations.</p></li><li><p>Develop planning tools, reports and information to aid laboratory team in effectively manage and reduce supply costs.</p></li><li><p>Key contributor to the development and enhancement of Corporate Materials Management policies and practices.</p></li></ul><p>QUALIFICATIONS</p><p>Required Work Experience:</p><ul><li><p>At least 10 years' experience in purchasing/ supply chain management and operations environments.</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 4 years supervisor/manager experience required</p></li></ul><p>Preferred Work Experience: N/A Physical and Mental Requirements: N/A Knowledge:</p><ul><li><p>Knowledge of the diagnostic testing/pharmaceutical industry preferred</p></li><li><p>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.) or equivalent and purchasing-related systems.</p></li></ul><p>Skills:</p><ul><li><p>Ability to form strong team-based relationships with internal partners and internal customers, as well as external parties.</p></li><li><p>Able to identify and solve problems / analytical skills</p></li></ul><p>EDUCATION</p><p>Bachelor's Degree(Required)</p><p>LICENSECERTIFICATIONS</p><p>Six Sigma Certified Green Belt(Required)</p><br> Quest Diagnostics Incorporated Marlborough MA
