About the role:
A fantastic opportunity is available for an HR Business Partner who is results-driven and a strategic partner to join our St. Peters, MO Manufacturing team.
The HR Business Partner will partner with the St. Peters, MO Manufacturing leadership team on all aspects of the HR agenda (recruitment, training & development, talent and succession planning, employee relations, employee engagement, change management etc.) and will have responsibility for 2 direct reports. This position requires an individual with leadership qualities, who is open to change and willing to give their best in a dynamic and everchanging environment.
Develop and implement a team-based HR strategy for the manufacturing plant in that is aligned with Regional & Global HR strategy.
Serve as a key member and an advisor to the Plant Leadership Team.
Oversee all people management processes for the location (e.g. hiring, training, compensation and benefits, promotions, HSE and OSHA compliance, HR communications etc.). Act as the site lead for EEO compliance.
Provide coaching and execution support to management on people issues.
Ensure that training and development planning and implementation supports real business needs and the business is developing a strong bench of talent for local and international opportunities.
Implement a clear strategy for Employee Communication through the year across the organization in cooperation with the Plant HR initiatives.
Participate in the development of Plant campus HR initiatives.
Participate in the development of Regional HR initiatives with Supply Chain HR Managers.
Lead local recruitment strategy, including Identifying candidates by utilizing multiple direct sourcing strategies including: LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, networking, competitive intelligence and referrals.
Proactively lead the talent assessment process, supporting succession planning and career planning activities of top talent and performance management.
Provide input into Regional HR policy development and sharing of best practices.
Demonstrated ability to lead the development and implementation of a team-based, high performance culture is an imperative.
Limited domestic travel may be required as dictated by business needs.
BA/BS in Human Resources Management or another related degree. MBA a plus.
Proactive, results-oriented business person with a successful career track in human resources; experience in a global consumer packaged goods environment preferred.
Must be able to work independently with minimal direction
Takes initiative, is a self starter and is proficient at establishing internal relationships.
Proven leadership, communication and project management skills.
Ability to be flexible, adapt quickly to changing circumstances and develop creative solutions while building consensus among different functional groups.
Five to seven year's experience as an HR Generalist in a supply chain setting with full HR Generalist responsibilities (Recruitment, OD, Compensation, Benefits, etc.)
Solid recruitment experience for a large manufacturing organization
